It’s hard to believe, but the 2026 Poinsettia Summer swim season begins this week!

We know this is a busy time as the school year wraps up, so here are a few important reminders:

Dues & Paperwork
All SAIL team dues and pool membership fees must be paid before any swimmer enters the water for practice. New members must also submit a copy of their birth certificate. If you still need to complete any of these items, you may do so in person on Tuesday.

Tuesday, May 5 at 5:00 PM
New swimmers are encouraged to bring their suits and swim a few laps—coaches will be available to evaluate and help ensure the team is a good fit. All members please stop by to complete paperwork, pay dues, ask questions, and connect with other families. 

Wednesday, May 6 – Evening Practices Begin

• Ages 10 & Under: 5:00–6:00 PM
• Ages 11 & Up: 6:00–7:00 PM

Thursday, May 14 – Mock Meet
Instead of regular practice, we will hold a mock meet to help swimmers and families get familiar with how meets run. Sign-ups for the first official meet (the following week) will also open, and experienced team members will be available to assist with event selection. We’ll also practice using our new “Time-Drop” timing system.
