Swimmers will seek pledges based on the number of laps they swim or through flat donations. All funds raised will be directed towards essential team needs, such as coaching, equipment, an automatic timing system, and swim team events. This initiative is a wonderful opportunity to support our team and motivate our young athletes to set goals, remain active, and put in hard work.

Participation is voluntary, and swim practices are conducted at their normal times. A swimmer may swim at both practices, but laps will be valid during only one practice session. 

Compete for Prizes! As a token of gratitude for participating, all swimmers will receive candy prizes. Additionally, the male/female swimmer in each age group who completes the most laps will earn a special prize. Swimmers that raise $250 will receive a $25 gift card. Swimmers that raise $500 will receive a $50 gift card. Furthermore, the swimmer who raises the highest total amount in donations will win the Grand Prize: a party for ten at Big Air Trampoline Park!

To ensure the success of this event, we will require the assistance of several parent volunteers—one for each lane-to count laps and cheer for our swimmers. Your support on deck is vital and greatly appreciated!

Friends and family can write a check to PST and list swimathon and the swimmer’s name in the memo or Venmo us @pst_pirates and write swimathon and the swimmer’s name.
